I must confess, I am super, ultra sedentary. as the years go by i'm beginning to realize that i really have to counteract this. it's a matter of health. we need to move. everything about us is about movement but i love to stand still. however, having a daughter who is a bouncy pinipon is changing something in me. my desire not to miss a moment of her time has made me get back on my bike. i didn't think i could do it anymore. so I clean my bike and i just try to go. honestly, this has done more for my mental health than anything else I've tried in recent times. there's a different kind of freedom when you ride a bike, destinations become more relative and as a family everything becomes more cohesive. lastly, the way the air at the end of the day hits your face is very peaceful. I may be romanticizing it, but I loved it, and believe me, even the bruises from one or two pedal strokes didn't put me off.
of course, if I'm going to convince you, I've come up with some really cool urban suggestions, showing that our old bmx bikes are history.
